Allergies acting up locally
I recently checked in with Dr. Daniel Mackay in the Emergency Depart-ment at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. Dr. Mackay said in the past month, he's had a rash of allergy cases, both seasonal allergies and allergies related to medications and foods.

Dehydration cases being reported
I recently checked in with Dr. Daniel Mackay in the Emergency Department at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. Dr. Mackay said it's only mid-August, and he's already treated several high school football players with dehydration.

At the end of every summer, parents prepare their children to go back to school. They check the supply list, the dress code and make sure their student has completed the summer reading. Seton Medical Center Williamson has announced it has received the Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. According to hospital officials, fewer than 60 hospitals nationwide have earned this recognition.
