Football season can't get here fast enough. As the temperature heats up and the days tick down until two-a-days start some football fans are itching to get the season started. The first annual Round Rock ISD Coaches Panel Discussion is offering a chance to enjoy some football in July.
The group is meeting Wednesday at the Chisholm Trail Icehouse and BBQ. Round Rock ISD Athletic Director Jim Loerwald will be leading the discussion with Cedar Ridge Raiders coach Todd Ford, McNeil Mavericks coach Lee Penland, Round Rock Dragons coach Jeff Cheatham, Stony Point Tigers coach Craig Chessher and Westwood Warriors coach Anthony Wood. The coaches will be discussing their teams and the up coming season.
Tickets for the event are $13 with a portion of each ticket going to a Booster Club of your choice. The ticket includes a dinner and a drink. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and door prizes will be raffled every half hour starting at 6:30 p.m.. The discussion will begin at 7:30 p.m.
