Palm Valley a symbol of area's change

The spire of the historic 1894 sanctuary at Palm Valley Lutheran Church towers above the surrounding area. The language may have changed, but the message is the same. Though not much Swedish is spoken these days, the congregation of Palm Valley Lutheran Church still meets in fellowship and faith, just as they have done for a century-and-a-half. In this article we bid farewell to the glory days of a united kingdom when David and Solomon ruled over Israel, and we enter the dark days of a divided kingdom which would speed out of control toward final catastrophe for both nations.
